Now Hiring: Remote Contract Writer/Editor

5 Star Marketing and Distribution, a marketing company based in Tomahawk, is searching for a remote independent contractor to assist with the writing and editing of blog posts, proposals, sales letters, and other company communications. Writing and editing responsibilities will require approximately 10–15 hours per week, and possibly more, depending on writing experience and job performance.

Remote Contract Writer/Editor responsibilities include the following:

• Writing two blog posts per week for upnorthaction.com. Post subjects pertain to tourism in northern Wisconsin and UP Michigan, so knowledge of the area and industry is a must.
• Writing one blog post per week for 5 Star Marketing website and social media platforms. Topics include small business marketing trends and tips.
• Proofreading, copyediting, formatting, and rewriting articles, proposals, letters, newsletters, etc., as needed.
• Writing and editing business correspondence, as needed.
